[Newer: 143!] [Older: Why We Need HR 1207]

This Memorial Day weekend (May 22-24), Campaign For Liberty will host its Second Regional Conference at the Doubletree Hotel in Seattle, Washington.

A private sponsor's reception where attendees can meet and mingle with Dr. Ron Paul and Tom Woods will kick off our Conference at 6 pm on Friday night, May 22.  This will be followed at 8 pm by a terrific time of inspiration and education featuring Dr. Paul and Tom Woods at our free and open to the public Freedom Celebration.

On Saturday, the focus of our Conference will shift to political training.  Tom Woods will give us an excellent historical grounding with his "Foundations of Liberty School," The States vs. D.C.: Episodes in American History They Don't Teach in School, and Mike Rothfeld's training will sharpen our political activism tools.

There will also be a joint presentation from two Washington state legislators, Cary Condotta and Matt Shea, as they teach on "How a Bill Becomes Law" in Washington State and describe how attendees can participate in the process.

Saturday's activities will be capped off with our Liberty Buffet Dinner and Open Game night.

Sunday, May 24, will be reserved for C4L member and state group meetings.  These meetings will be devoted to building local networks and planning for future action. The day will have two major parts: the morning training from National C4L Leadership and some local leaders, and the afternoon regional breakout sessions. Among the confirmed group meeting participants are Washington State Supreme Court Justice Richard Sanders and Tim Eyman. They and other invited guests will talk briefly on the issues that affect the NW region.

Attendees will discuss how to apply the lessons learned during training - strengthening local networking and maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.

Click here for full schedule, registration, travel, and hotel details. A special C4L room rate is available at the Doubletree Hotel on a first-come, first-serve basis.

As momentum continues to grow behind HR 1207, we will be presented with more opportunities to spread the freedom message.  Our Seattle Conference will help prepare you for those chances and equip you with the tools you need to advance our beliefs in your local areas.

Space at the Conference is sure to fill up fast as we draw closer to Memorial Day weekend. Register today to reserve your spot!
