I hope he doesn't pull a Bobby Jindal.
I never liked the idea of a planned "immediate response," because it means the person giving the response already knew what they were going to say prior to the person they are responding to saying it. It's a cookie cutter argument and the individual giving the response goes into it usually attacking past actions. I think analyzing Obama's speech, picking it apart piece-by-piece, and then responding would be the better way to go.
However, we all know how predictably awful Obama is so I guess it may be alright in this case, I'm more so just making a general statement about pre planned immediate responses.
I agree with you in general about the pre-canned responses. However, if there's one guy who can listen, take notes, and then immediately respond in an intelligent way it's RP.
We saw some of it in the debates a year ago, and he's only had more practice since then, with all various news shows that have had him on with Shlub X and Shill Y.
That being said, I would be supremely surprised and shocked if he ever was the "official" repub response.
Oh my, looks like a little light bulb just lit up in the host's head.
Can someone link Mccain's comment to Obama? I want to see a comparison between the levels of intellectual argument.

Great response RP. Yes, he dropped the "F" word but was allowed to explain. Either way sure to rattle a cage or two.
The Obama admin is a group of economic fascist with socialist tendencies, no different than the Bush admin... except for the degree of fascism to socialism.
I know the media are experts at spinning words around, but how can anyone attack Dr.Paul for saying Obama is an economic fascist? He explained it right after he said it and if the media does try to attack him, they will look that much more stupid - kinda like the CNN anchor who questioned him on it. That guy had no idea what Dr.Paul meant by economic fascism.
BBLiberty, all they need to do is run the headline, "Ron Paul Accuses Obama of Fascism" and conveniently leave out the anchor's follow-up question and Dr Paul's explanation.
Did he use the word correctly? Yes, that is the definition of fascism, when the government seizes control of private companies. But that doesn't matter to insincere, Big Brother apologists. His statement will be framed as divisive, inflammatory and representative of the "No Party" (i.e., the GOP).
Ron Paul would never be allowed to speak for the GOP he's not a real Republican.
(sarcasm)
He questions his own party and President Bush or in this case Obama.
Sadly very few Republicans did that. They felt like they would've been seen as not supportive, which should have been how they were. This unwavering support should have been stopped and someone should had question Bush.
Oh, wait some one did, could it had been... No, it was... Ron Paul.
Ron Paul did question President Bush and he is a great man for that. And now he is doing the same for Obama.

And Economic Fascism Too!
Most people don't know what fascism is so to bring the word 'fascism' into the public debate will just be part of the education process that needs to take place.
Should we worry about the way the media will be instructed to use the reference to fascism as a way to tarnish the ethical stances of Ron Paul? How naive it would be to think that the media would not be instructed to find something to distort. The unConstitutional coup uses the media as a propagation tool, so the best way to counter their scheming is simply to speak the truth with words that are both precise and accurate.
To the credit of the reporter he allowed Ron Paul to clarify, but probably the reporter was unaware that a clarification of the word 'fascism' could be so easily understood and so revealing.
These reporters are stuck in the middle. They are trying to do their job while only partially aware that they are merely serving an overlord that has as its purpose the indoctrination of the masses.
Now let us see if the media takes off and runs with fascism. Spread the news if you must you dummies! Maybe the media will actually do its job of spreading the news even while the bungling agents of the unConstitutional coup are trying to discredit the great Statesman Ron Paul.
Economic fascism by the economic terrorists who are the members of the inner circle of the unConstitutional coup in the United States is what the people will learn about. As Americans become enraged the unConstitutional coup may wish for a more military fascist State to help postpone its inevitable defeat at the hands of liberty loving Americans.
I hate that guy he's horrible, he doesn't even have the balls to look at Paul in the eye cuz he knows it's too obvious to him that he's just there to cast doubt on the IRONCLAD LOGIC.

once again dr paul only succeeds in getting his message to the converted. i love dr paul for opening my eyes but he really needs to articulate better. my advice would be some speech writers, a debate coach and a sales coach.
speech writers for dr paul to break down the long explanation which only the converted understand into something which is far more palatable for the mainstream.
A debate coach to help dr paul stick to the subject and project his voice in a much more authoritative, confident tone.
the sales coach would be there to tell the doctor that once the sale is made, STOP TALKING!
That guy didn't care about one thing Dr. Paul said until he used the 'F' word. At the same time, at least he told Dr. P to explain why he used that word rather than let it slip and use it against him when he can't defend himself.
I thought this was a horrible interview. This guy's tone is so patronizing.
Sometimes the media only has Ron Paul on because they think of him as a clown. This is how they seem to think: "Our new president, Obama, is doing great, now let's see what the clowns have to say." His one word "Wow!" is insulting and it is meant to be.
If I see this in many of these interviews, I know others do to. I love Dr. Paul, but he's just not a great public speaker. Too much "uhh.., well" in the way he talks. It's unfortunate, because he has all the right ideas. But if not Dr. Paul, who? Answer: essentially no one. I know I have been much less successful. We just need more influential people to get his message.
I'm very suprised that the reporter didn't try to blot out Dr. Paul after the facism comment. I agree with alot of others on this vid, the media will twist this for their own benefit.
Problem these days that Americans are afraid of the truth, and are trained to obey. 80% of the people want to be led, and the other 20% are the leaders. The obvious isn't quite obvious enough yet for the masses.
The current President, and his administration are leading the masses down the wrong path. Unless Americans wake up, and take back what was, and still is rightfully ours... Our country.
I would like to extend on the comment I left earlier. I do applaud Dr. Paul, for being so couragous. Stepping on the stage telling the truth, and never backing down to whom ever. God Bless you Dr. Paul, you stand for everything that has been forgotten, and lost from this country.

Ron Paul is the only Republican, or anyone else for that matter, who can articulate WHY more government spending is wrong. He knows the history, he understands the economics, and can explain things plain as day.
