salvinian Des Moines, IA | Thanks for all this information, Modern Day Patriot! I sent the following email to each of the members of the Rules and Administration Committee:
Regarding SCR 1, "A concurrent resolution claiming state sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over certain mandates imposed on states by the federal government."
To the Chair, Vice-Chair, and all Members of the Rules and Administration Committee:
Paul McKinley's introduction of SCR 1 is the first step of an important sequence of events that are needed to remind our elected federal leaders that the States preempt the Union in all matters not specifically granted to the Union by the Constitution. That the federal government has been mandating policies in spite of those governed's wishes is evidence of tyranny and corruption. Indigenous power must be restored!
I urge that each of you understand that this resolution must be approved lest the federal government continue its disregard of Constitutional limits.
Please let me know how you intend to vote on this resolution and why.
Thank you very much,
Tony Seliquini

Modern Day Patriot Danville, IA | Awesome email, and thanks salvinian. You worded the email better than I ever could have done. I'm surprised that so many people still don't know about it. We need to get the word out far and wide about this bill. It's one of the biggest bills in the history of the Republic of Iowa for a long time.
Remember, one man with courage is a majority! (Thomas Jefferson) Now let's make more majorities! |

salvinian Des Moines, IA | Nancy Boettger's office has responded with: "Nancy agrees and will support this Resolution. hdb"
That's the only response I've received as of yet, but it's the right response! |

Thanks,

kdtroxel Urbandale, IA | Sent E-mail to Mr. Zaun,
I am a citizen of Urbandale, IA. I am one of your constitutents and I want you to vote YES for SCR 1 "States Sovereignty Act" that will restore Iowa's sovereignty under the 10th amendment to the Constitution for the United States. Our central federal government has gone mad and is considering many bills that would limit or do away with many of our "Bill of Rights." Fourteen anti-2nd amendment gun rights bills. The unconstitutional 'hate bill' where it can be a federal offense to hurt someone's feelings. The so called, "Cap and Trade" scam to tax fictional carbon cooling to the benefit of private entitites, such as the criminal "Goldman Sach's" bankers. To the looting of $23.7 trillion dollars of the treasury to corrupt bankers that was allowed to happen by our criminal congress.
The destruction of captialism was an inside job. Our congress passed "Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999" that removed the 1930's depression era banker gambling act of "Glass-Steagall Act." Then our congress added insult to injury by passage of H.R. 4541: Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000, which made derivatives legal. Derivatives are a way for bankers to bet on assets and ideas that are not owned by the better. To date there are $4 quadrillion bets outstanding. Capitalism never had a chance with congress undermining it.
Please, you must pass SCR1 and begin to protect the citizens of Iowa from the illegal actions of our criminal federal government.
