[Newer: Public Comments NEEDED for proposed Voting By Mail (WVSOS)] [Older: The 17th Amendment and the Nationalized Senate]

A proposed bill to declare and affirm West Virginia's state sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment has been drafted and is being promoted. Read about it at http://www.WVsovereignty.info

THIS IS REAL. Because similar efforts are currently underway in many states ( see http://www.mrstep.com/politics/az-wa-mo-nh-ok-claiming-sovereignty ), some patriotic members of the WV legislature are assisting with this. The proposed bill has so far been sent to at least one official committee of the WV legislature for review.

*** PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS IMPORTANT BILL ***

CALL YOUR STATE Delegates and Senators DEMANDING THAT IT BE INTRODUCED AND PASSED !!!

BACKGROUND INFO:

As I understand it:
1) This proposed bill is a combination of Oklahoma and New Hampshire bills. It was written by some Morgantown area WV patriots.
2) It's present status is that it has been given to members of the Monongalia County delegation. In particular, Alex Shook sent it to Bill Drafting without the NH language. Kevin Patrick sent him a revised draft last week. It currently needs sponsors.
3) Campaign For Liberty's involvement? None, officially. Many of our members are working at it as well, but mostly it's Mr. Patrick and one other person.
4) Lobbying plans? Yes, if it gets into committee, we'll be making several trips to Charleston, more phone calls, and if we have money a direct mail piece.
5) Publicity plans? Guerrilla advertising (chalk, fliers), and a door-to-door campaign if we can get the people, and a direct mail piece if we have money.
