Pennsylvania is in the Fight to Reclaim Sovereignty Under the 10th Amendment!!!

The following video features state Representative Sam Rohrer, from Pennsylvania's 128th state congressional district, explaining the separation of power and authority of the sovereign stares from the federal government. The video was actually part of a call to action, originally posted by by Pennsylvania Revolutionary, patriot, and C4L member fadestyle. The link to fadestyle's original blog:

Our PA State Senators are calling out to their constituents for help!

The power of the central government is the Federal Reserve Note along with Legal Tender Laws. Until States rebel against the unconstitutional demands of the central government these resolutions will be ignored. Just stop implementing their laws and don't take their money. Call the bluff and see if they send in the Military.

BillNM, you are so correct. We need to quit accepting their power and money. They will keep giving it to us as long as they know we will accept it. We need to turn down any help from the federal government and show them that states can take care of themselves!

I'm with BillNM.

If they don't take federal money, then the states can legitimately claim an independence.

- Getting rid of legal tender laws is the key.

------------------------------------

(Idaho is so dependent on the federal government that our economy would change drastically without those dollars. People like to pat themselves on the back here - we think we're pretty independent - but when it comes down to parting with those funds ... well, it'll never happen.)

I'm happy that various states are considering these resolutions, and hope that they all pass. But the real test will come when one or more states flatly refuses to do something required by the central government. The resolutions are just words, and actions will speak much louder.

At first I thought that taking bailout money would give up the right to refuse the central government's dictates thereafter. But then a thought struck. Suppose a state does take bailout money, and some time later tells the central government to shove some dictate. The feds say, You can't do that; you took our money, remember? The state can respond that what they took was only a down payment on the return of all the money they had spent on unconstitutional mandates from the feds. Therefore, the bailout funds do not obligate the state in the least.

Either way, the big question is whether any states will actually stand up to the central government in specific circumstances, and not just in words. If they do, there is still hope for liberty.

Hopefully this movement is not too little too late. Even though we might not want to admit it right now, in fifty years history books will say "It was in 2008/2009 that the U.S. finally embraced socialism".

Everybody, you and me, we are writing History right now...don't drop the pen!!! It's up to us.

YES!!!!!!!! Each state, with its own state constitution, the majority of them written AFTER the federal constitution, clarifying state sovereignty and the role of each state's government and we, the people's, responsibility to protect liberty and freedom! :) :) :)

Hurray for Pennsylvania! EXCELLENT video! I'm so happy to hear a Representative say 'state constitutions'! That's where our power is! Federal Government can not do certain things - or it breaches contract with the states!

Alright PA! Hopefully, more and more states will look at this noblest of noble actions, and follow suit.

We need to let the Federal Government know that we're not going to take anymore of their BS, and that they need to start following the laws that our fore fathers laid out for us.

I've asked people to contact their local gun shops, firing ranges, nursing homes and other places politically minded people gather to put up posters detailing how gun, healthcare, internet and other restrictions were secretly inserted into the stimulus bills. As far as I know it doesn't have a title yet
http://samrohrer.com/uploads/10thAmendment-HR.pdf but, according to the Pennsylvania We Are Change website, the bill number is HR 95. http://www.nepawearechange.org/drupal/node/1046

Actually, the title would be the first line of the bill:
"A Resolution claiming sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over certain powers, serving notice to the Federal Government to cease and desist certain mandates, providing that certain Federal legislation be prohibited or repealed and directing distribution."
